Mooresville, Alabama is the oldest incorporated town in Alabama. The town is located less than a mile off of I 565, near Huntsville, Alabama. It still appears as it did in the 19th century. Wikipedia describes it as picturesque of the 19th century. It is one of my favorite spots to visit. It is tiny, just a few streets and you've seen the entire town and it's few beautiful home; however, the preservation of history is like none other. According to Wikipedia the post office is the oldest still in operation in the state and features call boxes built prior to the American Civil War.
I met my brother and sister-in-law this past week and was able to take some amazing pictures of my nieces, Allyssa 4, Hailey 3 and new baby nephew Kyson, who is only 4 weeks old. It is by far one of the greatest spots for photography. The pictures above give you a glimpse of this lovely little Southern town.
